CRAFT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME: E-COMMERCE WORKSHOPS

VENUE: Thatched Cottage, Craft Village, Derry~Londonderry

The Craft Development Programme in Derry City Council are carrying out a Craft E-commerce Platform Scoping Study. Nolka Design is facilitating workshops with makers on 13 January 2015 as part of the consultation process.  The workshops will explore current e-commerce platforms used, needs, issues and gaps as well as potential options to address these.

Nolka Design has been appointed to carry out this scoping study as part of the Craft Development Programmne  and the consultation is critical to progressing recommendations for a platform that will best meet the needs of the sector. Your input would be very much appreciated by attending one of the following workshops (food/refreshments will be provided):

  • 12.00pm to 2.00pm: this session will be geared towards established craft businesses or those that already trade online and therefore have experience of e-commerce platforms.

 

  • 6.00pm to 8.00pm: this session will be more geared towards crafters starting out/at early stages or who have no current online presence/no experience of e-commerce platforms
