Positive Parties were nominated for the Strabane Business Awards in 2 categories – Best New Business AND Excellence In Innovation. Founder, Denise Devlin, met with Kevin & Abby Mullan from Expert Recruitment (one of official sponsors) on Monday 10th Oct in Positive Parties HQ. They loved Denise’s passion and vision for Positive Parties and said they could see her on Dragon’s Den! Maybe that is next!!

The winners were announced on Saturday night at the Awards Gala Event which was held in Strabane’s Fir Trees Hotel. The night which was hosted by Apprentice Finalist Jim Eastwood was a great success and the 280 entrepreneurs, local businesses and sponsors that attended the Gala Event weren’t disappointed.

The spectacular Fir Trees Hotel glistened as the crème de le crème of Strabane entrepreneurs received awards. In all there were 20 Awards, including 3 Outstanding Awards and some businesses managed to receive more than one award on the night.

The Outstanding Achievement Award winners were Nishi Ward from Waste Systems Ltd who won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Seamus Nealis from Craft Recruitment and Training who won the Business Personality of the Year Award, and Allstate NI who won Employer of the Year Award.
